Once upon a time, a girl asked a guy, "Will you marry me?" The guy said "No" and the girl lived happily ever after and went shopping, drank coffees, always had a clean house, never had to cook, stayed skinny, and was never farted on.

ok sounds very cold... but i like your "end". its not fake and it shows a bit of life's realness... rejection won't be that bad if you know how to move on and carry on with your life and really learn to enjoy it, i guess...
